OverHerd’s attention-to-earn approach radically redefined the typical social media model, enabling the platform to accumulate 500K+ users almost overnight. This model is so innovative because it doesn’t require users to build large followings or court brand sponsorships; instead, they’re rewarded in crypto tokens any time their posts generate traction.
To work, OverHerd naturally requires a robust revenue stream. That’s why the company’s co-founder, who goes by the crypto pseudonym Sherpa, has always made monetization a top priority.
Sherpa initially met OverHerd’s monetization needs with crypto-native ad units that introduced users to Web3 products and ecosystems within the platform environment.
